Ulrika och Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall

Ulrika Bodén from Helgum keeps the songs from Ångermanland close to her heart. With her expressive way of singing she is considered to be one of the top folk singers in Sweden, and works both solo and with her bands in Sweden and abroad. During the summer of 2016 Ulrika released the praised album "Te berga blå", a tribute to pasture music and its tradition bearers -the women. This year she will perform at Umefolk together with her favorite musicians; Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall, who also contributes on the album. 

Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall have established as one of the most exciting acts on the Swedish folk music scenes with their dazzling interplay and imaginative arrangements. In their music influences of both pop and barock shows, together with a wide range of sound and an unresistable groove. They were crowned as Group of the Year at the Folk and World music Awards in 2016.

Together Ulrika Bodén and Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall creates a show filled with energy, beautiful songs, intensive tunes and powerful calls. The music played will be from both artists repertoires, with several songs from the new album.
